These Terms apply to all use of YHome.me (the “Service”), including sign-in with Google and features that call Google or YouTube APIs. They are linked from our Google OAuth consent configuration and should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between members and the operator of YHome.me (the “Service”) in connection with YouTube channel pages, analytics, and related features offered by the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms and signs in to the Service with a Google account.
- “Content” means videos, images, text, and other information made available by YouTube or other third parties.
- “Registered channel” means a YouTube channel linked or registered by a member with the Service, or channel information stored in the Service database.
Article 3 (Effect and changes)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise notified to members.
- The operator may amend the Terms within the limits of applicable law and will give prior notice of any amendment, including the effective date and reason.
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 4 (Membership and accounts)
- The Service identifies members through Google OAuth. Members must comply with Google account policies and these Terms.
- By completing Google sign-in and using the Service as a signed-in member, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you have read or had a reasonable opportunity to read the Privacy Policy. The specific access permissions you grant to Google (for example read-only YouTube or Analytics scopes) are shown on Google’s OAuth consent screen and may be changed or withdrawn there.
- Members are responsible for safeguarding sign-in credentials and account access and must not transfer or lend access to third parties.
- If identity theft or false registration is confirmed, the operator may restrict use or terminate the agreement.
Article 5 (Google user data, YouTube APIs, and compliance)
- The Service uses Google OAuth and YouTube-related APIs as described in the Privacy Policy. Members must comply with applicable Google and YouTube policies when using those features.
- Members agree that their use of YouTube-related functionality is also subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use requirements where applicable).
- The operator processes Google user data only for the purposes disclosed in the Privacy Policy and on Google’s OAuth consent screen, and will adjust or discontinue features if required by Google, YouTube, or applicable law.
Article 6 (Service description)
The Service may provide features such as the following and may add, change, or discontinue any part as reasonably necessary for operations.
- Channel pages, content lists, playlists, comment views, and statistics based on YouTube public data
- Linking member-owned channels, favorite channels, and requests to collect or refresh data
- In-service analytics that may incorporate metrics from authorized YouTube Analytics or similar Google APIs for eligible members and channel owners, presented as derived summaries inside the Service—not as raw third-party API feeds for the general public
- Supplementary features such as AI analysis within the scope requested by the member
Article 7 (Member obligations)
Members must not engage in any of the following:
- Acts that violate applicable law, these Terms, or notices published within the Service
- Acts that infringe intellectual property rights such as copyrights or trademarks of the Service or third parties
- Acts that overload systems, APIs, or networks or use abnormal automation to access the Service
- Impersonation of another member or third party, or distribution of defamation, threats, obscene material, or illegal information
- Acts that undermine security or operations, or unfair use such as reverse engineering or scraping
Article 8 (Copyright and data)
- Rights in the Service UI, software, documentation, and the Service itself belong to the operator or rightful licensors.
- Rights in third-party content such as YouTube materials belong to their respective owners; members must also comply with each platform’s terms and policies.
- Members are responsible for the legality of information they upload or submit to the Service.
Article 9 (Suspension and changes)
The operator may suspend or change all or part of the Service temporarily or permanently due to maintenance, failures, legal or contractual constraints, changes or unavailability of third-party services (such as Google or YouTube), or other force majeure. The operator is not liable for resulting damage except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
- The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
- The operator is not liable for damage arising from errors or delays in information based on public APIs or cached data, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
- The operator has no obligation to intervene in disputes between members or between members and third parties arising through the Service and is not liable to compensate for such damage.
Article 11 (Restrictions and termination)
If a member violates these Terms or interferes with operation of the Service, the operator may take necessary measures including restriction of use, termination, or deletion of data, after prior notice or without notice in urgent cases. Members may end their use at any time by signing out, disconnecting links, or requesting account deletion as offered by the Service.
Article 12 (Governing law and disputes)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the operator’s principal place of business as the court of first instance. Where mandatory rules more favorable to consumers apply, those rules shall prevail.
